Dr. Tom O’Bryan discusses how oral health can be linked to digestive issues at the Holistic Oral Health Summit

Tom O’Bryan, DC, CCN, DACBN, is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the National College of Chiropractic. Dr. Tom O’Bryan is an intentionally recognized speaker and workshop leader who specializes in non-celiac gluten sensitivity and celiac disease, and also studies the development of autoimmunity. He also helps patients with health problems that potentially stem from nutritional imbalances, immune and inflammatory imbalances, intestinal dysfunction, impaired detoxification, oxidative stress and endocrine imbalance. He has been featured on many television networks and regularly gives public lectures on the connection between the gut and the rest of the body. Dr. O’Bryan will be presenting his expert knowledge on oral health at the Holistic Oral Health Summit. Sign up for free now!

At this year’s Holistic Oral Health Summit, Dr. O’Bryan will give a very interesting lecture on the connection between the gut and oral health. If you are like most people and dread going to the dentist, it may be because your oral health is suffering from a problem inside of your gut rather than in your mouth. At this year’s Holistic Oral Health Summit, Dr. O’Bryan will be discussing:

  • The difference between non-celiac gluten sensitivity and celiac disease
  • How poor oral health can trigger ”leaky gut” and other chronic diseases
  • Foods and supplements to reduce inflammation and improve digestion/health

The Holistic Oral Health Summit is available FREE online and it will include information about how and why oral health is closely tied to other diseases including cancer and cardiovascular disease.

For most people, when medical issues arise, the last thing they think of is their oral health. As described in Your Mouth Could Be Killing You, by Sheila Wolf, RDH, oral health plays a significant role in the overall well-being of the whole body. “Despite the impact of oral health on general health and well-being, the mouth is often overlooked or ignored by doctors and left to us dental professionals. But, even in the dental profession, outside of a small group of holistic and naturopathic dentists, I have found few who look beyond the mouth to the whole body and involve the patient in participating in his or her own wellness,” Wolf wrote.

Dr. Tom O’Bryan’s knowledge of celiac disease and other gluten-related disorders affords him great insight into how your diet and your oral health are connected. If you suffer from both gluten intolerance and oral health issues, then this is the perfect lecture to tune into for this year’s Holistic Oral Health Summit.
